About Me
I hold credentials as a Certified Interior Decorator, an International Re-Design Professional, a Certified Living in Place Professional, and Occupied Home Stager.
I work hard to provide you with the best Decor/Design/Staging experience that I can. As an Accredited Member of the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada (DDA), and in order to maintain my accreditation, I am required to earn 5 CEU’s (Continued Education Units) administered by the IDCEC (Interior Design Continuing Education Council) each year. This ensures I’m up to date with current trends and practices in my industry.
In-Home or Virtual Zoom Decor/Design Consultation
$400 Prepaid 1.5 Hour Service (+$95/hr for anything beyond 1.5 hrs.)
Includes: Questionnaire review, walkthrough assessment, re-design/re-purpose solutions, concept suggestions for paint colours, artwork, accessories, styling, lighting, floor/space plan, etc. We recommended that you take your own notes during our consultation time.
Colour Consult
$325 Prepaid 1.5 Hour Service (+$95/hr for anything beyond 1.5 hrs.)
Includes: Paint colour and finish recommendations mindful of a palette throughout your home for a professionally decorated experience. Considerations include natural light, hard surface undertones, existing artwork and accessories, area rugs and furnishings, and general function of the space. We recommended that you take your own notes during our consultation time.
3D Design Renderings
Room renderings starting at $400 are available for those who have trouble visualizing decor/design suggestions. Visit our rates and services page for more details.
MOVING FORWARD
A signed Letter of Agreement is required for all projects, big or small. A regular rate of $95/hr applies for services beyond initial consultation. A specific Design Brief and plan is formulated based on your individual space, needs and preferences.
Suppliers
Accounts in good standing include Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams paint, Stradwicks or Whelan’s flooring, Living Lighting Interiors, Bennett’s Furniture, Budget Blinds, Wayfair Canada, York Wallcoverings, Tonic Living & Designers Gallery fabrics, and Statum Designs Furniture.
Payment Terms
Retainers for ongoing services are non-refundable and treated as an advance to be credited against fees and hourly charges payable by the Client. All items and materials ordered by Jill Carty Designs shall be paid for in full prior to ordering. Payment for all design services and plans as described above, shall be made prior to or at the time of presentation. Payment for all remaining services shall be made upon receipt of periodic invoices, hourly rates being billed in quarter hour increments. Payments by etransfer (preferred), personal cheques or cash are appreciated.
NO Communication POLICY
After 30 days of no communication from you, we will terminate the project and it will be considered cancelled. However, we are human and always open to listening and understanding to your position; we will do our best to help whenever we can. We just need to communicate.
