Sheen

Colour can be affected by the paint sheen. For example, flat sheen paint provides colour closest to the original paint card sample, whereas semi-gloss paint will have a moderate reflective quality that will dampen the vibrancy of the colour slightly.

Lighting

Paint colours can look different when viewed under different light sources (such as type of light bulbs, lamp shade colour, etc.)

Exposure & Natural Light

Paint colour can be affected by weather, room exposure (East, West, North, South) and time of day.

Colour Matching

The paint that has been specified is formulated by Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore Paint. There is no guarantee that a colour-matched paint by another paint company will truly represent the colour you and I have chosen.

Other factors beyond my control

I understand that for full accuracy and complete satisfaction, it is recommended that paint colour selections are tested in the room(s) and viewed at various times of day, under different light sources. My signature below is my acceptance of the colour(s) chosen for the palette from the suggestions given by Jill Carty Designs. The final decision being mine, the client.
